This event will take place at TJ on Friday, October 17 from 7pm - 9pm.

  • Costumes must adhere to the student dress code

  • Costumes must allow students to move around the building and participate in classroom activities, without causing danger to themselves or others.

  • Inflatable costumes are not permitted.

  • Costumes may not include any simulated weapons of any kind.

  • Students may not wear a mask over their face.  If your costume includes a mask, it must remain on the top of your head.

  • Costumes may not include references to drugs or alcohol.

  • Out of a deep respect and appreciation for our men and women in the armed forces and our democracy, costumes may not include military or political aspects.

  • Any costume that demeans or insults any gender, gender identity, race, disability, political affiliation, or religious/ethnic group is strictly prohibited as a violation of the State HIB statute.

Please note that these guidelines are non-negotiable.  Should any administrator or staff member find a costume is inappropriate, the student will be asked to change out of his/her costume.
