Welcome to Math League!

You can join the TJ Math Team Google Classroom to get more information, a tentative schedule for the year, and updates as contest dates get closer. When you first join, please fill out the survey to let me know your interest in each math contest.

We will have meetings almost every Thursday between mid-November and April, but 5/6 meetings/contests will be separate dates from 7/8 meeting/contests due to classroom capacity constraints, so be sure to check the calendar provided.

There are very few dates available for practice meetings, so when possible, practice contests will be provided on Google Classroom.

We will be registering for the following contests this year:

Math Olympiad, AKA MOEMS (5/6 level, and 7/8 level), 5 contests between November and March.

Noetic Learning FALL Math Competition (November) – one contest for each grade level

AMC 8 (more appropriate for 7/8 grade – done on a Tuesday in January) – we are registering for the online version

MathCounts Competition Series – Chapter Competition (more appropriate for 7/8 grade) – you must take a qualifying exam for this one, as I can only take 12 students.

Noetic Learning SPRING Math Competition (April) – one contest for each grade level
