The Environmental Club is involved with environmentally friendly topics and activities during the year. All students are invited to help us plant bulbs, shrubs and perennials around the school. After building new planting beds, we will be deciding what perennials, herbs and annuals to plant in them. Bird houses will also be built and we will sell recycled items such as pencil cases. Through our grant, a new composter was purchased. We will continue to work on building the TJ Environmental Center and discuss such topics as identification of plants, soil pollution and cycles. In addition, the Club will include Animal Rescue topics which will discuss ways to help animals in need.
