Keyboarding

Students are formally introduced to the keyboard, as well as proper finger and body positioning.  Early introduction will prepare students for the 2015 'Electronic' state testing, as well as for growing academic technological demands. Students use the Almena Method and various online keyboarding programs to develop their keyboarding skills.  In addition, students are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to complete weekly keyboarding logs.  The links below are free, online keyboard skill development programs your child can use at home.
